Ladder your commitments for free with CUDly
CUDly is our free, open-source CLI for buying AWS Reserved Instances and Savings Plans. Use it to ladder: buy a slice of what you need on a regular schedule, not everything in one big purchase.
Buy in slices
Choose what share of each recommendation to buy per run.
Rolling renewals
Terms end in small batches, so you can resize as usage changes.
Safe by default
Dry run first, a CSV to review, and checks against buying twice.
Each slice is still a 1- or 3-year commitment. For 30-day terms and cash back when usage drops, add Guaranteed Commitments.
# Preview this month’s slice (dry run, buys nothing)
$ cudly --services rds --coverage 25
# Buy it after you review the CSV
$ cudly --services rds --coverage 25 --purchase
Repeat every month. Each run adds a new slice to the ladder.
